Nepenthes cultivation guide

HOW TO GROW ?
Lowland Nepenthes :
They live near the sea level like many tropical plants, you will need a hot setup like a terrarium or a growth chamber with stable temperatures between 24 to 28°C, humidity above 80% and a good ventilation
A warm greenhouse will be the best, if temperatures are above 24°C during the day it can fall to 15°C at night.

Intermediate Nepenthes :
Plants growing above 500-1000 m. Nearly the same conditions as above, but temperatures should fall at night for better growth.
Humidity can fall during the days.

Highland Nepenthes :
Plants growing above 1000-1500 m. They will need cool days and cold nights.
A cold greenhouse or any setup in a cold room will be fine.

WHAT SOIL TO USE ?
An easy mix good for lowland and Intermediate Nepenthes :
20-50% peat moss and 50-80 % perlite
A good mix for many Nepenthes, Heliamphora and Utricularia :
70 % 5-10 mm Pine bark, 20 % Perlite and 10 % peat moss

Keep the soil moist not wet !!!

OUR CULTURE CONDITIONS:
Our plants are hardened for a minimum of 2 months.
Our highland Nepenthes, Pinguicula, Utricularia and Heliamphora are grown between 10°C and 35°C, humidity between 40 and 80%.
You may need to provide better care to our Intermediate and lowland Nepenthes as we have to grow them INDOOR during the cold months.
